Curraghmore House & Gardens
Portlaw, waterford
Curraghmore has been the Beresford family's seat near Portlaw since 1170, with 2,500 acres of gardens, woodland and grazing open to visitors. The guided tour takes in canvases by Rubens and Gainsborough and the 1754 Shell House; the grounds hold King John's Bridge of 1205 and one of Ireland's tallest trees. Open Fri–Sun, May to September only.
