Castletown House
Celbridge, kildare
Castletown House holds Ireland’s only surviving 18th-century Print Room, where cut-out prints were pasted straight onto the walls. The Palladian mansion, completed in the late 1720s for Speaker William Conolly, stands in parkland on the banks of the Liffey; the grounds are free to walk, while the house is seen by guided tour only.
